Tomorrow I have an appointment with a nutritionist. I am relieved that I have finally decided to take this step on my way to recovery and still I am nervous. I have filled in pages of pages of forms of metabolism, illnesses and a food diary. I can imagine the appointment like “You are what you eat” where at this stage the poor client is shocked into change by being showed the error of his/her ways. I wonder what it will be like? I hope to find out what I am really allergic to and what I should avoid because of the condition. I have been preparing myself lately by slowly cutting out wheat (you know already but also), dairy and fizzy drinks. I grew up in the Swedish countryside far from the coast so a meat, wheat and dairy based nutrition was the norm. In the last 5-6 months I have made remarkable progress in terms of improving my nutrition.
